APALAZZOGALLERY is thrilled to announce that Nathlie Provosty has won the award for the fourth edition of Milano Drawing Week.
The jury explained the decision by stating: ‘American artist Nathlie Provosty explores the intersections of memory, perception and symbolism. Favouring monochromatic scales of black and grey, Provosty creates aesthetically simple compositions that conceal great research into materials and constant new technical experimentation. The artist has shown great maturity and consistency in talking about his work and his love of paper and ink. Her research also includes an artistic solution, each time different, for the frame that she constructs herself in resin to find a profound harmony between the content and the container.’
