Grazia Varisco (b. 1937, Milan, Italy) participated in the Gruppo T experience together with Giovanni Anceschi, Davide Boriani, Gianni Colombo and Gabriele Devecchi, taking part in the Miriorama events and the international Nouvelle Tendance movement, with which she exhibited in Italy and abroad from 1963. After the end of the Gruppo T experience, she continued her experimentation by taking part in important periodical exhibitions such as the Venice Biennale (1964 and 1986) and the Rome Quadrennial (1965, 1972, 1999) and holding numerous solo shows: Galleria Vismara (1966), Galleria Schwarz (1969), Galleria del Naviglio (1972). She collaborated from 1961 to 1967 with the Development Office of Rinascente in Milan and as a graphic consultant for the magazine ‘Abitare’.
From 1981 to 2017, she held the chair of Theories of Perception at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.
